Algotherm is a French marine cosmetics brand which mission has been for more than 55 years, to master the ocean’s richness and push their knowledge further on its treasury of life for the benefit and the beauty of our skin.

 

Founded in 1962 in western Brittany, in the heart of the Iroise Sea, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Algotherm has built its identity around marine cosmetology, drawing inspiration from the oceans and their natural resources.

 

Algotherm is part of the Batteur Group, benefiting from the scientific competence that only a French pharmaceutical company that has been operating for over a century, Laboratoires Gilbert, can provide.

 

The in-depth study of seaweeds, including knowledge, selection and assembly, allows Algotherm to choose the best species to meet requirements and skincare needs. This expertise has positioned the brand as a pioneer in algotherapy. All shades of green are found in the oceans, from the palest blue-green to the most intense emerald green.
